I remember myself being a child, with a pencil in my hand. I was always drawing. When I was a teenager I was a Marvel comics fan and I spent all my time drawing my favourite characters in whatever piece of paper that fell in my hands. I remember myself watching a making-of of a Don Bluth feature film, and I felt fascinated when I saw the animators flipping their work... and the movement, the life that they could achieve with their pencils. In high school I was always drawing characters while I took my class notes. Even in college class notes. Always drawing. Even now, even in despite of not having a sharpened pencil in my hands, my mind travels around the profiles, the edges, the volumes, the contrasts... my mind traduces the reality into lines and shadows constantly.
I was lucky (maybe not) when I found an ad of an animation course in Barcelona. There, I was a student of Sergi Cámara, Florenci Salesas and Bernat Serrat that introduced me in the world of animation, cinematographic language and character design.
Many years have passed since then. This site is for show you my modest work in the world of animation. And I also want to remember some of the good friends and masters that I have met over these years.
